Marc Moss
Color has dominated Marc Moss’s view of his world since early childhood. Color dominates his creative process and shapes his composition as much or more than the subject that emerges from his canvas. Each painting is a visual representation of an emotional moment, a fleeting thought, or a striking image or even that Marc recreates to touch the observer as it has touched him. Marc recognizes the final brushstroke of his painting when he becomes aware of the painting as a whole and feels its completion through a sense of peaceful satisfaction. His hope is that his work will touch those who view it, experiencing their contemplation of the painting as a peaceful moment of their own.
