Kate Ayrault
Kate Ayrault has been coming to Islesford for 52 years. One of her great grandfathers, William Otis Sawtelle, was a great supporter of both Islesford and Acadia National Park. Kate has always been an artist but really got into painting about ten years ago. She loves painting from the North Shore of Islesford. The mountains of Acadia, the ocean, sunsets and beautiful lobsterboats are often the subject of many of her paintings. Kate loves working with acrylics, watercolors and soft pastels.
