Dan Fernald

Danny was raised on Little Cranberry Island and graduated from the local high school. A sixth generation lobsterman, Dan has been lobster fishing for nearly 50 years.
Danny didn’t begin his art career until he was an adult. Fellow artist Ashley Bryan helped him develop his skills in both oil painting and pastel. They continue support each other. He has taken classes and workshops over the years and has been an independent student of the arts. Danny has pursued his interest in drawing and painting during the offseason of lobster fishing.
